Older forum image when using "back" button...?

Whenever I hit "back" to return to the forum index after reading a thread I get a forum index image from about a week ago. I have to hit refresh to get the up-to-date index.

Any ideas how to fix this? I thought it had something to do with a setting in IE, but I can't find it.

One thing I'm noticing that happens to me is the dog tag icon often indicates a 'new post', even though there hasn't been one since my last visit.

I don't know if it's something with my cookies or the site.

not sure what to do to fix this but what i do to keep it from happening is read what i want to read and when i'm done for the time beeing i hit "Mark forum as read". next time i come here i get the new topic indicators as they should be.

you are going back into your cache when you hit back so the page hasn't been refreshed. try hitting the top level link in the breadcrumb tree instead. just a thought.
