character sizes

Hi guys. I'm working on a laptop and when using a laptop some sites have bigger characters. Usually you can fix this problem by using ctrl + scroll up/down.
The characters on the forums here are too big but the control+scroll thing doenst work. I cant make them smaller nor bigger. I also couldnt find anything in the CP.... Its very frustrating because the characters are so huge that it gets confusing.

in your browser try, View>fonts>medium.  thats the general setting i have for my browser, without having to use ctrl+scrl.

Not sure why this site would be so much different than others tho?

Ctrl+scroll works fine here.

I can change the size to whatever i want (in the view>text size menu) but it doesnt change anything on this forum. The same with ctrl+scroll. On every other page it works but when i'm on these forums nothing happens when i try it... strange.

Pretty frustrating because the font is a little bit too big (= chaos).

Ctrl+scroll and the View>Font Size in my browser options both work for this site.

What browser are you using?

Right now i'm using Internet Explorer 6.0 but i tried Firefox and it works! So i guess i'll have to switch to firefox then  :smile:

Good choice. FireFox is much better. I'm not sure how I lived without page tabs before.
