Been a while since Ive stuck my head in so first off...HELLO!
:spam:
Secondly, i just got an ATI Sapphire x1950 Pro for XMas and RS:Vegas came free with it which was a nice surprise. I havent played any of the games since Raven Shield a while back but it was like jumping back on a bike.
The biggest thing that I love is the ability to crouch to take cover under short walls and cars and to press up against a wall and get the camera to allow you to peek around walls, it adds a whole new aspect to the game. You can either blind fire around the corner (and not hit a single thing!) or pop out to fire and then take cover again. Rapelling down a wall then breaching through a window to get inside is also a good way to pass the time.
Ive been mainly playing Terrorist Hunt after a few levels of the SP game. Large amounts of concentrated death is where its at, and just havent tried MP yet. I think the tangos yelling at each other for not having enough ammo or asking me if im afraid im gonna get shot or telling me to effin die is halarious!
Like I said, I dont have any comparison visually or gameplay wise to the recent games but I think it looks and feels great on the PC. I have shadows on low for now, when i cranked em up things slowed down, but i turned the movement blur up at the same time so i think the two of them were a bit much. I can take some 1600x1200 screenies and video if people want and slap it up on google (who has a new fraps?)
