Not only that, but it gives them a base to test their latest mil-tech on unsuspecting Allied troops and some of the best hardware they have to offer...

Making matters possibly more messed up?  If you read around today, there's a report that the U.S. is looking at doing a multi-billion dollar defense deal with the Saudi's.
