Interesting.
If memory serves me correctly, Chavez had ordered the halving of all flights from the U.S. to Venezuala a few months back, reason being, we don't need the gringo's dollars.
Chavez has communicated himself as being pretty much a loon and has ruffled some rich feathers back home with some of his policies (nearly old school communistic which has some of the older established families a little concerned). It will be interesting to see what happens in their elections coming up.

i dont see any wrong doing by calling bush the devil, he could have and should have said more. its not wrong to say so, in fact many people say it... just not as BIG as this. it should be - because he is not a good president at all.
i dont blame 7-elevin for backing out of there deal - they need to protect themselfs.

Well then, your boss should call you a homosexual at work. There's nothing wrong with that. In fact he should say that you're a transvestite and a child molestor. It's not wrong to say so, in fact a lot of people say it, they just don't say it to your face. It should be said though, because you didn't meet your quota last month for work.

har har har. if thats what your boss wants to call you then so be it.
the president does act as a devil to a mass of people, not only americans but other countrys. not my fault he is stupid like that.
mabe he should do things differntly so he doesnt get called names by many people, and in this case a major person ie Chavez.

har har har. if thats what your boss wants to call you then so be it. Clever. For a five year old. The point I was making (and you missed) was that the fact you don't like his political policies doesn't make him a "bad" person in anyone's judgement except yours. the president does act as a devil to a mass of people, not only americans but other countrys. not my fault he is stupid like that. The same could be said of anyone. Remember that kid who you got in trouble with Mrs. Flanigan in the 2nd grade (last year) because you didn't like him? He committed suicide because of you. We're all "devils" in our own right then I suppose. We cannot comprehend the effects the things we do have on the world around us, but those of us who are spotlighted by power and watched every second by the media simply have our flaws laid more bare then others. Did you know that Clinton had the opportunity to take Osama bin Laden into American custody AFTER the first WTC bombing? He decided not to. Does that make him an idiot? Maybe. Does that make him "The Devil" No. mabe he should do things differntly so he doesnt get called names by many people, and in this case a major person ie Chavez. Alright, make a list of things that Bush could do that would make you his biggest fan. There's no list big enough for you. You don't like him because when he shows up on TV bits it has a (R) next to his name.

As politely as I can say it, and I sincerely mean to try; You're simply too naive to see the big picture I'm talking about. It's not about whether you like Bush or not. It's about a certain amount of respect any political official should offer when he is a guest in another country, whether he fully agrees with their politics or not.

Don't mind MO. Nobody's quite sure how old he is, not even him. You see, his brain stopped developing at the age of 9. Ritalin and alcohol never mix well.
Bush isn't a bad president. Yes, he has done some unethical things. Yes he has made some bad decisions. But to end the war on terror any faster would require not only a lot less publicity but also some much more unethical choices. Going into a country in smaller groups and assassinating key political members requires the sort of finesse that couldn't be condoned after the 9/11 attacks, because to do so at that point would be far too obvious, and would make him and the Republican party out to be a much bigger monster than they already appear to be in the eyes of much of the media and public figures against the war.

It's one thing to disagree with a man's beliefs, political and otherwise. It's completely different for one head of state to call the other one The Devil. I know children who are more considerate that Chavez.

MO, you just need to word your responses better. I mean seriously, calling Bush "the Devil" is OK? Think about it, we're talking about a country, its allies, and our enemies- and one of their leaders stands up and calls our president the Devil. These are countries that take religion so seriously that they are willing to commit suicide in the name of their gods. These people don't need an excuse to hate, attack, or even attempt to kill Bush.
Not to mention the fact that our president doesn't look like the Devil. He hasn't sacrificed or asked for the sacrifice of any virgins or babies. He hasn't burned down any churches or banned the Bible from any schools, libraries, or hotels. So how can any name-calling be justified here? Especially from a man who is supposed to be a leader- a representation of his country, a moral and ethical example of his people, and a man who should place the good of his people above his own personal opinion (especially when in the public eye).
If President Bush had stood in front of the world and called Bin Laden "the Devil", what would your reaction have been then? Or are you so anti-Bush that he can't do right and anyone opposing him openly can't do wrong?

Or are you so anti-Bush that he can't do right and anyone opposing him openly can't do wrong? Sort of. To be more precise, he's anti-American. It doesn't matter who the president is. We've all learned long ago that MO just genuinely dislikes the U.S., and has stated so himself. His opinions are just saturated with hatred that no political figure within the United States can do anything to make him happy.

MO - I mean in no way to be antagonistic when I ask this, but why do you not make use of normally assumed grammatical rules, especially spelling?
