so in this election season, bringing "change" to our government seems to have become a buzzword.  but I was watching a show that asked a question that I thought was worthy of some good discussion: [bold]What[bold] kind of change does the country need, specifically?  What, exactly, needs fixing?  I was surprised by the viewpoints of the people on the TV, so I wanted to hear more.

Now, me personally?  I believe that as a nation we need to off our narcissistic attitude and realize that we cannot bully everyone across the world anymore.  We are losing power politically and economically, yet too many in america still seem to have this attitude of "screw the world, we can do what we want."  More than anything else, I think our entire culture needs to start looking at other global perspectives and considering them.  I'm not saying we need to eliminate our own national identity, but we do need to start listening to and considering outside thoughts and ideas, and entertain the thought that we might not always be right.
