OK, so I am perusing a bunch of News Sites.  Ya know, to get a cross-section of the real news.

So, I find myself over at the Huffington (Bluffington??) site and read Cindy's latest rant.

Would you believe it!?

I guess Cindy has gotten tired of ripping on Bush and the Bush Administration.  She is sooo desperate to increase her 15 mins of fame, she has now started in on anyone who DOESN'T agree with her!!  

Sheehan has the unmitigated gall to start laying in to OTHER mothers who have lost children in Iraq!  She all but says that they are unfit parents because they support their children and their children's efforts.

Cindy Sheehan is actually doing all patriotic Americans a huge favor.  She is digging herself a very large and very deep hole.  Hopefully she will bury herself in it.  And soon.

On another note, I have to admit I was surprised by Huffington.  Out of the dozen or so SHEEHAN, SHUT UP messages I posted to the Huffington/Sheehan Blog, they actually had the cajones to post one.

Jeeeeze louise, please deliver me from naive idealists who are completely clueless, yet feel qualified to advocate world policy.   (NOTE: Bill, if you are a reader here in the PLATOON P&R Section, my apologies if this appears to be  offensive. There is nothing wrong with being an idealist as long as one maintains perspective.   )

Does not Bill realize the absolute MESS the entire Middle East would be in if the US just pulled up stakes and left!??

Regardless of the wisdom of the Iraqi campaign (that can be debated in another thread if anyone has the desire.  I can list a dozen good reasons for the campaign.. But I digress) the simple fact is, we are there, it's a mess and we need to clean it up.

Anyone who advocates unilateral retreat (Bring the troops home NOW!!!) from Iraq really needs to examine the consequences of such a rash and disasterous course of action.

It was on one of her posts a few days ago.  

Basically I asked her why she has not harsh vindictive and hateful words for the turds who actually KILLED her son, but rather saves all the rhetoric for her own president and countrymen??

Needless to say, she didn't respond...

Can you believe, though, what she said about the other moms who actually support their children and support the troops??

She called them the "murder and mayhem" moms!?   I doubt that Bluffington will have the cajones to print my response to THAT!!!!
