Well, everybody from the UK knows, the A level results were released yesterday. For you yanks, the end-of-college exams.
Well, i didnt do very well, crap in fact.
I had a D in English language, an E in Sociology and a U in Psychology.
U is unclassified, a total fail.
So, i rang up a few universities today and got the expected "na sorry mate, need better grades" but then i rang up the university of Glamorgan and i have been accepted on a BSc in Social Sciences.
My long term plan is a Police dog handler, so i dont need any education, but if i dont enjoy the police force its something to lean back on you know.

glad to here your going into law enforcement, but a couple of thing to think about:

1) I dont know about where your from but every time I see a pic of or video of a cop in the UK they are always dressed in some god awful goofy looking uniform.

2)once again I dont know about where your at but where I work the K9 cops are
         a.punk asses
b.never able to get beyond a middle to lower rank (they seem to run into a glass cealing at seargent or staff seargent)

Im guessing the regional differences take care of those points. The police dog handlers over here tend to be quite good guys, "the only coppers with a heart" is what they're generalised as actually :hmm:

lil bit of miss comunication there:

by punk asses I dont mean that they are ass holes just a lotof them go to dog school so they can get a law enforcement job and dont have to deploy (aka go to Iraq)

I'm sure that K9 is a perfectly good thing in a civilian agency but keep in mind where you want to be in 10-20years cause those jobs turn into careers and the feild you get into can make or break your career.

Its very confusing the transition between UK system and US.
Basically, i went to high school till i was 16, then college till i was 18, then Uni after that till im 21/22.

Basically, "college" refers to 11th and 12th HIGH SCHOOL grades of the US.

I'll be starting college, aka "University", in October, 2 year associates degree in Visual Communications. Looking at going further but will need to evaluate options at some point in the next year. Going back to school in and of itself was a big enough step for now, considering I'm 31 and recently separated, on the way to being divorced.
