if you had a dvi port on the back of your tv, i would go from dvi to dvi.
that other black round port on your video card usually plugs into a dongle, you will plug that dongle into your tv. if it is an S-Video port, plug that into the tv. im not sure what that port is tho - find that out first.
if its ati, you can buy the dongle pritty cheap, either from ati or a wholesaler/retailer/e-tailer/whatever im not sure about nvidia, but probably the same.
if its s-video its just about adjusting the settings correctly. both the tv and the drivers have to be configed to work correctly to get it to work.

As soon as you can get me the specifics of the card I'll be able to tell you what you need to do to get it working.

it has no OS on it right now but it will have XP. I tryed to hook up the s-video but it did not work
Well, I think I'd try getting the OS in place before poo-pooing S-video for starters. ***Edit*** [Stewie] Cuz ya' knowww,,, the S-Video output is a driver dependant thingy. [/Stewie] Need the forceware drivers installe for it to work.
