Would you be interested in playing in a group franchise there Mono?  At a pace of playing like 2 games a week against other adults?  Have a few friends that play...wouldn't be a full league, just a handful of madden fans playing and end up playing a few games (or more if you end up in the same division) against each other.
How much time do I have to practice before this would start? Even though I bought the 360 version, I have no problem picking up the PC version as well.

Can you post for me the recommended system specs. I searched the Madden site but couldn't find them.

Hey Smerg...do you have the Create a fan, and Rushing Attack, and Two minute drill, on the PC version?  Because I can't locate those anywhere on the 360 version, but they're described in the Prima game guide.

Ironically, I had the same issue with the PC version in '06, I couldn't find the create a fan thing anywhere.

I have the mini games, I have the practice mode, but I do not have the two minute drill or the rushing attack practice mode.

Damn those are low specs.

I just bought the 360 version, but I'll be buying the PC version.

I should know better. The PC versions of any game are always better. I just found out Bioshock is the same way, PC version is better than the 360 version.

So I now have both versions of Madden 08.

The 360 and the PC.

I've been totally hooked on both for a week.  I'm frustrated that I can't decide which one I like better.

360 has amazingly better graphics, and a simpler more intuitive control scheme.

But the PC has a much better 'atmosphere', including John Madden and Al Michaels calling the play by play commentary, and the whole thing feels like watching a good old Monday Night Football Game (now Sunday night).

What I really need, is the 360 version, with the PC atmosphere.  Tongue

This whole trend of making two completely different version of the same game is really starting to piss me off, and get expensive.
