I was never really into sports because a)my asthma, 2)my heart problems, and III)never really got interested in watching people throw a ball around.
And really lost interest when people would fight and riot over a win or a loss.
THEY'RE NOT EVEN ON THE F***ING TEAM, WHY GET SO F***ING MAD, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY DIDN'T BET ANYTHING?!
Anyways, never really got into it... I was a more of an arts and crafts... and then later nerd... and then after that stoner... and then after that musical... kind of guy.

Yup I have it...nabbed it today fer PC.
Played 1 Franchise game. Played 1 online game via EA.
Would you be interested in playing in a group franchise there Mono? At a pace of playing like 2 games a week against other adults? Have a few friends that play...wouldn't be a full league, just a handful of madden fans playing and end up playing a few games (or more if you end up in the same division) against each other.

Yup I have it...nabbed it today fer PC. What do you recommend between the 360 version and the PC version? I going to pick it up this weekend, I don't care which one I get really, I'm just concerned that I might get performance issues on the PC, in which case I'd rather get the 360 so I can play without any problems. |

IMHO the only thing to be concerned about with nabbing it on X360 is that this is the first "next gen" madden. Apparently, there are some issues...as there always is with the first.
But you will get all the bells and whistles that Madden 08 is promising on X360.

Performance wise X360 gets a steady 60FPS...
Hopefully I can get to the store Sunday since I wont be able to for the rest of this week.

Smerg, you play plenty of games on you rig... does Madden '08 on the PC seem like a smooth runner, or a system hog. I'm guessing a smooth runner based on past games.
Second, is the 360 version and the PC version the exact same game? Same features, etc. or is it like a GRAW situation.
Thirdly, which platform do you recommened getting it for, 360 or PC.
