I got the new Ozzy album. Unfortunately my headphones broke before I could listen to the whole album, but I'll give you a review on the first half of the album.

The opening track is awesome. "Not Going Away" has a good beat to it, the guitar tone is a little different than your normal Zakk Wylde tone. The guitar solo is awesome. *****

The second track and - thus far - the only single on the track, "I Don't Wanna Stop" has a hint of a punk feel to it during the verses, but once it gets into the chorus, it's all Ozzy. A good listen too. ****

The third and title track is a bit slower than the preceding tracks. ****

Opening with a drum track comes number four, and the last one I heard. It is even slower than the title track, but all Ozzy still. ****

Over all, from the first four tracks, I give the album a good **** out of 5. Wylde's use of pinch harmonics becomes a little cumbersome, the lyrics are not exceptionally great, but still good. I applaud Ozzy on needing subtitles when he speaks but being totally understandable when he sings. While the album is no Blizzard of Ozz by any means, I would still recommend it to a friend.

I also like the album because I got two tickets to Ozzfest this year with the album. Given tickets are free, these ones will take me up front.

If you have heard the album or any tracks on it, feel free to give your review.
