Hi Guys

Wonder if you can help with this problem:

I tend to make all of my maps available for Tango Hunt but with every map I make i seem to get this. After a random number of terrorists are killed (differs every time played) My Ravenshield crashes to desktop with the following debug report.

Report

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 1677 MHz with 1279MB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200  (6693)

General protection fault!

History: AR6TerroristAI::execCallVisibleTerrorist <- AActor::ProcessState <- Object R6TerroristAI HQBLD.R6TerroristAI231, Old State State R6Engine.R6TerroristAI.Attack, New State State R6Engine.R6TerroristAI.Attack <- AController::Tick <- TickAllActors <- ULevel::Tick <- (NetMode=2) <- TickLevel <- UGameEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop

Can anyone shed some light on this subject?

We all hate those error messages because usually they don't make any sense.  It's hard to know what it is by that error message.  But, the common mistake people make is not setting up random terrorists properly.

You should have one large guy with many, many small guys.  If you follow the tutorial that was linked, you should be fine.  Also, if you don't have enough random terrorists, that can cause problems if you choose a number higher than what you have supported in the map.

If all else fails, you can send me the map and I can take a look at it.  No promises, but it couldn't hurt.

Thanks for that guys it was my fault was putting down loads of random points(BigGuys) with 1 node(LittleGuys) each now i've fixed it and the error is not occuring.

I must have sneezed and scrolled past that part of the tutorial lol
