Was messing around with xml files and I turned it on.
It's not very functional. I ca'nt seem to get textures to show. But it's there thats for sure.
Kinda makes me mad as this was probably intended for release but they did'nt finish it as with other parts of the game.
Anyway guys, try this out
open up context.xml from your GRAW root folder and change this line
(changed the line, now works with lighting)
Run the game. Load up a LAN multi map. Violla !!!! In the editor
Now maybe somone can help figure this out and fix it so we can make some new maps.

EDIT: Tried it, the EXe wont start, reads an error, dont know if it will happen to you, back up xml file

Just opened mine up and nothing much there, it works but everything is rendering black, so eventualy i did something that bugged it and it finally died.

thanks dude, Me deleted the > key by mistake, works for me, looks like there is a map loaded, Ive been punching away on keys for any hotkeys but it looks like its half functional, me thinks this will not be the editor they ship in the patch.. anywho theres more discussion on the subject here, and Mr. Schnell seems to be getting a great deal of praise in it http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=34249&st=0

change the line in the context menu to this and it will be lit, Ive managed to place a vehicle and have it fall thru the floor, as well as a light. Cant seem to work their brush system yet thou. most of the items in the menu are placed with a right click in scene.

Another Handy, copy the shortcut on your desktop (make another) go into the properties of the shortcut, and under comment put a -editor. Rename this shortcut to Editor, and the other to Game to avoid confusion and voila, you have a direct editor startup link, no more going into the game and starting a lan.

Its fairly unstable at the moment, works thou, staticmeshes are placeable and are seperated into STATIC(larger architectural meshes) and Static_small(cosmetic stuff, barrels, debris, vehicle etc.) Lights are placeable and simple. I'm digging further to check how the nav system works and Ai. Of course saving a map would be a challenge, but im thinking it has to do with the Area thingy, place a large area box and work inside that, there doesnt seem to be a brush system ala Unreal, but more a import from a 3d app in peices type of thing.

Got the Camera working, Very Intuitive for sure. Hit the space bar to activate it and use the wsad keys to navagate and use the mouse to tilt direction. then hit the spacebar again to freeze camera and work.
