I am thinking about buying a new fan for my processor, because I have problems with it over heating. I have never had to change one before so what I need to know is, what fan is compatible with my processor (AMD athlon xp 3200, not great but it works)

I'm not looking to spend much, somewhere around 20 bucks. I have looked around the net and I can't seem to find out what fans are compatible, or if that is even an issue when buying a fan.

I use this fan. Anything from Thermaltake is pretty good, so long as you use the correct solutions.

I've had good luck with the Zalman CPU coolers.  The solid copper one does a great job and it's pretty quiet.  It _is_ a bit pricy, though.
