do yall think it could be my mother board? or should i try a new brand? and if so whats a good GC that can run BF2, BF2142....the new games, but isnt $350 and up?
Thanks,

If you have hardware that keeps going bad in your PC the first thing to suspect is a weak power supply. Putting lower than spec voltage into electronics is just begging for trouble.

what is going wrong with it? what cards are you buying? what power supply do you have?
i too think its a power and cooling issue, but it could just be the BRAND that your buying too.
what happens to these things is they get too hot and start warping and the chips come dissconnected at one of the balls on the memory chips or the actuall grfx chip. sometimes they just go bad and heat up to unbelivable temps (even hotter than the normal really hot temp they usualyl run at.
sometimes capacitors go bad etc.
but if your going to run a hot case temp then thats going to happen without good air flow in and out of the case.
true the powersupply does play a huge roll too! i have had issues with that before until i bought a pc power and cooling psu - which fixed all my issues (i went through several psu's from antec to enermax).

well... it looks like alot of people wont be too. the newer x2900 xt is a dud. and even has fanboys not liking it at all.
the mid and lowend will be great - so i hear.
EDIT: actually the mid range isnt that great anymore.
