So, I've decided its really really time for a new computer. I have some money saved up (well actually quite a bit, I'm take a small portion of my "I'm Taking My Ass To Ireland" Fund to help build it so...), so what I thought about doing was buying a Barebones System (You can get one pretty cheap on Newegg or TigerDirect and what not), and using that awesome discount I get @ Best Buy to buy the accessories and what not.

This is what I was really looking at, and those who are computer savvy (I consider myself a pretty good computer guy, but I'm pretty dense sometimes). Mindless, you're advice is definitely welcomed, may not agree with everything you say, but you know your shit about computers.

Something Along These Lines

Barebones One

Barebones Kit 2

Those are the two I'm looking at. I'm a fan of the Dual Core, and I still like doing heavy graphic arts, but I love to play my games as well.  I'm hoping to make this last for a while. Now I know the Quad Core is out, but frankly I dont see myself needing to use Quad Core...even when I upgrade to vista.

Was looking at this video card

If your on a budget...that first BB kit looks pretty good.  You'll need a heat sink for your CPU and with that vid card, you may have to upgrade the PSU.

Room to grow there if that's the way you want to go...just remember, either BB kit is a low cost solution.

I'd choose Intel over AMD is the only piece of advice to offer you.  I'm a AMD fan but they are way behind in the processor department right now.

Yea I'm on a pretty tight budget, but the point is just that, room to grow, with my BBY discount, I'm pretty good when it comes to Hard Drives, Video Cards and things of that nature. The only thing I'll have to get somewhere else are the heatsink for my CPU. I can get PSU's dirt cheap at work. That won't be a problem. Only problem is finding one that fits the case I guess.
