Thinking of picking up GRAW

Just wanted to ask how many servers are running, addversarial vs CO-OP, and if anyone on these fourms is still playing. Share your love/hates of this game, wanna make a informed choice if possible.

I can't say anything about MP but the SP rocks if you have a beefy enough rig to run it.

SP side is great.
MP side to things is IMHO is a work in progress. There is the CO-OP side which when the team leader dies the game is over. I have not played to much of it. The Domination Mode is good. You have to secure flags though out the map but only when the "Supply Chain is intact ie: linked flags. The DM is fun , nothing new. There are 3 maps(at this stage, custom maps are starting to appear all the time) for DM, 2 day 1 night, and 4 for Dom Mode I think.The Dedicated server files are yet to appear but we are told by GRIN that they on their way, so all servers are run through GameSpy.

I run a small server on Monday and Tuesday nights and was having issues with ppl being booted from the server for invalid CDKeys, the the recent 1.20 patch should have fixed this problem.

All and All I rate the game and have high hopes for the future of it

I'll be able to run it, as I ran the demo okay on lower settings. But I won't be touching SP, strictly MP. Idealy mostly co-op with a little adversarial to keep it interesting. actually protecting the team leader isn't that much of a strech for me. playing BF2, especialy now, protecting your squad leader in that game is what it's all about. and in a clancy game, I prefer it to be extra tense, then to be able to run around whilley nilley.

And any chance I can get a estimate of servers being run, at peak and non peak hours?

In my opinion You will struggle to play GRAW co-op online without first finding people to play with.

There are few people online at best of times and 99% of them will not be playing co-op.

IMO the game is good and i`m getting used to the play a bit now but it`s NOT GR and never will be. it causes sooo much lag that it`s very frustrating sometimes and people are always calling cheater because they think they are shot by other people who seem to be still moving and stuff.

The game has HUGE potential and i`ll be playing it to the bitter end but i feel that unless GRIN sort it out the end will be within a year at most.

To sum it up..Get the game for SP as has been said already but unless you already know some co-op players then hang on to your money for a while..You could always google "co-op graw clans" to try and find someone.

I think I'll grab it anyways it's not that expensive anymore, and it looks damn nice on my new setup. Hopefully I can find some people to play with, or edge my freinds into picking this up.
