Only thing is my team doesn't seem to follow orders(prolly a bug, or have to re-install).

The orders only seem to work from the overhead map. They don't work at all outside of it, aside from the follow/regroup command. If there's one thing I really don't like, it's that you can't (at least to the best of my knowledge) tell your team to go into normal or recon mode; they always seem to suppress, wasting a ton of ammo on full-auto from super far away.

There isn't any "ghost" in this Ghost Recon.

Silencers make no difference that I can discern, there is no stealth element.

I haven't been bothering with the team AI, I just run around and do it all myself.

The big problem is that your teammates ALWAYS engage, they see something move TAGET SITED BAM BAM BAM BAM RELOADING BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM ... then the whole god damn city is coming onto my ass. Anyway thats my little rant ... back to playing :-D

That's not correct. They don't open fire until fired upon. Bring one guy with you and sneak around behind some tango's and you'll see.

I think what's happening is they are not attempting to conceal themselves, and they walk out to where they are seen by the enemy. The enemy sees them and fires first.

So the actual flaw is the AI makes no attempt to not be seen. The trick is to use the 'stop' command frequently to micromanage them from walking out into the enemy line of sight.

Or, in a patch UBI sets the enemy vision range to be less than that of your team. That can be done with a mod also.

I uninstalled it without finishing. The sound was off, even though I have an Audigy, the graphics had to be set all the way down, even though I have a GeForce 6600, 1GB of PC3200 apparently isn't nearly enough, and my processor is just way too slow. Oh well, maybe I'll pick it up once I can afford a new motherboard and processor, and that PhysX card.

Yeah, sound is definitely off, can barely hear the sound of my own gun, but the machine gun firing next to me is almost deafening at times.

Still can't get anyone to follow any orders, 'cept when I double click the ~ button, causing the team to move to wherever I am looking, and stay there until further orders.

Also agree with the problem of Artifical Ignorance, AI seem to just walk out into the open and start firing on the enemy. Tho, I have seen them peeking around corners, but this only seems to happen when there is noone around. Also have had problem of teammates trying to walk through me when I am at a corner trying to engage the enemy.(same old s**t from GR1)

Is there going to be MOD support for this?

Without it I fear this game will not be played for very long.

If you can't hear the sound of your own gun, turn off EAX. works for me.
