I cant play the damn thing and get frames over 5 fps..... regardless of quality settings.

It appears the game must have the physics card in order to run well. :moon:

If your in the same situation as my self, a quick driver update should solve everything. Aside from that, it does have steep requirements, though most people are running great with out physics cards, but it requires alot of the other hardware.

I maxed out at just over 1 MB per second

AMD Athlon XP 3400+ ~2.2ghz
3gb DDR400
NVIDIA Geforce 6800GS OC

Has NVIDIA released any new drivers lately? I currently have version 6.14.0010.8212, these are sufficient to run oblivion on high settings.

Nvidia have released drivers specifically optimised to the GRAW demo.
If you haven't updated today, you might want to.

k so i got to play it on another computer...
The Good:
Firefights feel really chaotic like they should.
The ordering system works pretty good; it's simple, but effective.
Overall, its pretty fun.
Tactically decent

The Bad:
Lethality issues:  You can survive 5, 6, 10(?) shots without dying.  Not exactly the realism this series is known for.
It just seems too, well, action genre.  The demo mission had to go all hollywood on me and make me blow up a gas station.
That damned cross-com thingy has people constantly blabing over your radio, giving you lots of info you don't need.

BUT...in reality (future Warrior systems actually in functionaly testing atm) the armour used by the Ops you are playing can take multiple shots, the Cross com will provide lots of infomation, alot of which you prob wont need, but ops would.  All and all provided the situation, timeline, and tech of the age I see this game as being as realistic as they could without exageration.
BTW no one seems to be complaining about the zillion bugs in obliivion, why because it rocks, every games got bugs.

Runs fine on my machine.

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 2.08 GHz
1 GB RAM
ATI x800 Pro 256MB

No lag, screenfreezes, or lock-ups so far.

Only thing is my team doesn't seem to follow orders(prolly a bug, or have to re-install).

Overall, seems like a pretty decent game to play, and the 3, 5, 10 shots til your dead really seems to depend on where you are shot at.
