Minimum System Recommendations

    * Intel® or AMD® compatible processor 2.5GHz or higher

i think its great that futuremark released a benchmark for people to strive for new grfx chips and for the grfx industry for using it as a benchmark for making better hardware.

i dont like benchmarks tho. sythetic benchmarks are out of my book, use real game play is all that i can say.

these benchmarks have just become depressing as my machine has seen it's hay-day a few years ago. Now it chugs at these things

well... every time someone reaches a record 3dmark (say over 10,000 or so) they release a new 3Dmark version.  this one has alot of new advancements in it for future and current hardware.  need not use this if you have old hardware at all... its just not going to be nice.

anyone who doesnt have one - get an amd64 variant (any 939pin amd will do, with 64bits or not). and then you will be happy!
