however the battle for a good roguespear/rainbowsix is still at large and worthy effort.

Better you then me to fight it cause it has been up till now, quite fruitless. However, I must ask one last thing;

On what front are you fighting this battle? Do you have contacts with people at Ubi or anyone that has any influence on the outcome of the game in anyway?

If so and you have spoken to them about your concerns, they obviously don't value your opinion.

If you don't have any contacts (and by contacts I mean outside of the official forums) and you're fighting from within fan sites, you won't get very far. Well, you'll get as far as you have so far. Nowhere.

lol, there is nothing i can say to argue with you because you will likly just come up with something else to try and contridict me.  this is not worth my time, however the battle for a good roguespear/rainbowsix is still at large and worthy effort.

Usually in a disagreement people will provide points and counter-points or "contradictions". Typically, the person who can better provide points and contradictions has a better argument.

Of course thats never stopped anyone here before.

You have made EIGHT posts in this thread, but you have failed to offer ONE thing to the commentary except incorrectly spelled versions of: "UBI Sucks".

The question should be: Why aren't YOU done yet?

Please don't forget the wonderful copy protection Star force, a highly heated discussion at Ghost recon.net forumshttp://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=31030&st=0

it appears that starforce has proof of messing with peoples PC's.

It was annouced the other week. Geiger posted something about it in the Ubi forums.

Disappointing to still here the same old names at Ubisoft. Not much chance of anything changing. My bet is this will be another FPS dressed as a tactical shooter, and that it will releases in under 12 months of development time. Since it is being built on the Unreal engine, they will have the benefit of their existing code, so any feature from Ravenshield can feasably be included. I assume we will be seeing the return of the Ladder bug also.

Another poor quality title from Ubisoft in the makings. No polish added. No flourishes or verve. A budget production sold for a premium price.

If you buy this because you enjoyed Rainbow Six, more fool you.
If you buy this because you enjoyed Ravenshield, I think you might have the right idea.

Given the choice, I would play this one on console. That's what it is being designed for so that's how it will work best.

you think it's going to be on the same buggy version of the unreal engine as RvS or a newer version?

I think it will be a newer version of the Unreal engine, but I don't think the old version was buggy either.

In fact I think Unreal is notoriously bug free.

I think the bugs in Ravenshield were as a direct result of the developer trying to mod stuff in that no one had done before. (Climb ladders, pull the pin from grenades). I assume that since the basic Unreal package still won't directly support those features that they will use their existing coded solutions to add them again.

Make no mistake if this is Ravenshield 2, the game will be more refined than it's predecessor.
But packetloss is packetloss, and if that single crucial signal gets corrupted the same errors will occour. Ubi devs are not Unreal dev's.
They are modders using a propietry engine.

Or perhaps they will just ditch the mount ladder/dismount ladder button and let people just run up them Half life2 style so that packetloss can't affect it, and the same with the grenades, maybe they will just do what all the other games do and have the pin pull and throw all in one action.

I'm tempted to have a sneaky bet on the return of the ladderbug and fraglock. Let's see if they are smarter than I give them credit for.
