Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas will push technology through graphics,
-this is probably due to xbox360 and the technology leap that it gives develpers now.
artificial intelligence
-doubtfull, unless they licenced AI from some other compainy. they always claim to have at least good ai, but its always flawed and majorly. i wouldnt even say ravenshield ai was good.
physics and animations created by Ubisoft's award-winning Montreal studios,
-ok so what rainbowsix serise have we played that was good yet? lol, splintercell? lol, its not even rainbowsix so we havent seen ubisoft make a good one yet.
which house some of the world's best talent, including Senior Producer Chadi Lebbos who was the lead on Rainbow Six 3.
- this wasnt exactly a good game - you know with all the problems, no patches that worked, network troubles, patch after patch if we even got one on time. bugged from the begining.
"Rainbow Six is back and better than ever," said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing at Ubisoft.
-of course, because ubisoft is nothing but a marketing and counsle game maker.
"Building upon the online success of the Rainbow Six franchise and harnessing the power of the next-generation experience,
-take the name and make a crap game or a game with nothing but bugs we will never correct. now we will use xbox360 technology and port it to pc... yet we will never call it a port, even tho it esentially is because we are using the same code base, just so we can save on time and money.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas will be the benchmark against which all next-generation games will be measured.
-xbox360?
With Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter being released this month to wide critical acclaim, and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent also due out this year, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas makes a perfect addition to the Clancy series in 2006."
-if it really is a clancy game? its just a name now that means nothing.
is this an xbo360 game ported to pc? i have no doubt it is. but they will deny it becaues its going to use the same code base yet again. lockdown was such a failure but they cant afford to loose money, so what do they do? port them using same code base, think about it, minimal effort to make a game for PC, and less money. good idea? well take lockdown as an example. not a good idea for that game for sure.
ubisoft sofar hasnt said anything about lockdown and how terrible it is. they havent said anything about anything except release this information for their mistake of a game.
"he Rainbow Six franchise is known as one of the best multiplayer experiences and is hailed for its immersive single-player games."
HAHAHHAHAHAHA if we could logon or not get network lag (ie lockdown and ravenshield respectivly)... single player? ha that was way back with roguespear the last good game that had singleplayer that was immersive.
