The multi-player map can be played in ‘Team Adversarial’ game mode. There are 17 weapons available in the demo (42 will be available in the retail version), and all the equipment and grenades are available for both single and multi-player maps – while the Custom Character Creation and usage is available in multi-player.

this thread is awfully quiet right now... let me guess... eveybody is playing the demo...  man.. I´m still at work ( but downloading) ... file is 319Mb from gamershell ... I guess the 325Mb is uncompressed value, rigth?

Well I´ll found it out soon enough...

See you guys in "Prison" :1 (17):

PS: I just noticed that my comp has just the minimum requirements except the video card (ati 9700 pro, Tachyon 128 Mb) ... will i make it in style?

Simply put : Lockdown will NOT be a game I will buy.

I've stated this quite a bit to my clanmates, friends, Ubi forums, and don't really wish to get started all over again.

The game needs to be boycotted. Everyone should put a msg on their server, when new players join to play, stating to BOYCOTT LOCKDOWN & CONTINUE PLAYING RVS!.

Such a shame. Ubi needs a lesson where it hurts most. The wallet.

Yeah let's boycott it!

... oh wait, it's just a game. I think if I like it I'll play it, and if I don't, I won't. I'll save my righteous indignation for political or religious issues.

lol

well, i think the game is worthless, mostly because of the AI and run and gun online so i won't buy it. It's not boycotting it, i just don't buy it. And my friends from our RvS Clan think the same so that will be 9 sales gone for UBI.

The first time EVER i'm not buying a R6 title

Playing Rogue Spear?
For those of you who haven't tried it in the last few years, you are in for a shock.

It's not as good as you remember it to be, the reason you stopped playing, is because better things have happened to video games since then.

When I went back to play Rogue Spear after playing Ravenshield, despite liking the movement better, there was a basic problem.
Texture resolution. Things have moved on and you can't go back. Pandora's box of 256meg GFX cards has been opened.
Games played in 640x480 look rubbish.

graphic wise Rogue Spear sucks alot nowadays and the AI is not that good either Tongue But in 1999 the gameplay was just perfect. Oh man, i spent so many hours playing Rogue and the expansions. I still remember playing the SP about 8 hours a day in the weekends (doing about 1 or 2 missions per day). Loved it Cheesy And such a good replay value.

I really miss it when i think of it  Oil Tanker, Turkish Bazar, Kosovo.....oh yeah baby cool

I guess it's the same as with Final Fantasy VII. Will never ever get that back either. Only the sweet memories...

Wow...they really did dumb this one down a lot. They did a great job of making it virtually indistiguishable from every other shooter out there. It's about as as "tactical" as Quake now.

I probably end up buying it when it's in the bargin bin. In and of itself, it's not a bad on-the-rails walk-and-shoot.

I just hope something worthy is developed to fill the tactical simulation gap.

I'm typing up something intelligent about the failures of Lockdown. Not that anyone will listen, but who cares.

ya to tell ya the truth... rvs seems alot better even tho it has so many problems, bad code, exploits, no sdk, no fixes for broken or unbalanced things, etc... .and to say something is worse than that, is actually weird.
