Well. The TV series is set before Skynet takes over. The new movie is set after, as IMDB and other sources will let you know. So it has no ties to the TV series at all.

Well for the sake it has J.C, and the Robot Girl does come back from that time to help the resistance,,, hey I can hope.

I also hope it makes it to the PC and not just consoles, past the PS2, I hate Console controllers. I think Op Flashpoint spoiled me for that for good.
