From Bluesnews.com
The Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter reveals a delay to the next installment in Red Storm's tactical shooter series (thanks Frans). The site shows the release date has been pushed back one month to March 2006.

As anyone who's been into the gaming scene, we should all know this type of thing is common place. Best thing to do consider all release dates as BS until the game goes gold.

The game itself is looking good, but I'm personally interested in a demo before I worry about the full version. It's been a long time since I've played a new GR title, and since there was a console only version out since the release of the first title, I'm a bit skeptical as to how this game will be.

If the HUD is any indication of how the gameplay will be (I know, completely unrelated, but bulky ugly HUD with flashy colours spells disaster to me), I think I'm in for a disappointment. Though, my expectations aren't all that high as it is. And if they start screwing around with the mod tools and/or the ability to mod at all (Raven Shield has made me worry when it comes to Ubi and it's mod support), then the game will be in some serious trouble.

I wouldn't be surpised to see another push back before we're all said and done.

But as Fixxer said, this isn't exactly extra-ordinary news for any gamer.  I just wonder why UBI keeps promising certain months when they could just be a little more general and refer to the quarter they anticipate to release it.  A little more lee way.

Anyhoo, looking forward to trying out a demo for the game cuz I ain't sinking a dime into another UBI shooter unless the demo is impressive.  Mod support Huh?'s also have me scratching my head about this game.

Doesn't surprise me either, as the Ageia PPU cards that will be needed for full functionality won't be available until at least February.

Can't wait to see this in action though.
