I've been playing Red Steel for the Wii lately (very cool!) but i noticed that in certain parts of the game, especially when there is a voiceover, the Wii dvd lens makes alot of noise like it's trying to re-read data constantly on different parts of the game disc (close together). The game also does it while playing some levels, not necessarily with any voice overs at the same time. Anyone has Red Steel here and noticed the same thing? The sound is really disturbing cause it doesn't sound like it is normal and healthy... Till now i've only noticed it with Red Steel...

ps.
There are no scratches on the disc.

Just a quick question: have you updated the firmware?

No problem I'm in the PAL region also.

Turns out mine does the same thing. Although its not particulaly loud.

It probably has something to do with Red Steel being the first non-nintendo produced game on the Wii and Ubisoft not having time to properly organise the disc loading procedures....
