picked it up yesterday, havent played it toooo much as I would only play it at work(my home rig blows) So far so good, feels like Oblivion meets HL2 but not so Pretty as either.
IF you gotta big rig then you can go into the advanced settings and blow everything up but it is still pretty underwhelming, BUT there is no lag on my end and it doesnt look that bad, the gameplay is making up for it. For the price and atm you cant really find anything worth it. So far its a good game and if it continues then it will be worth the 35 bones I droped on it.

What i'm liking so far is the realistic colors. It's very woodsy without being too fantastically colorful.
another thing is all the moving grass and the view distance. I have this puppy maxed out *except shadows* so far so good. But i haven't played much, i'll up some screenshots. Thankfully it runs at 2560x1600. WEEE!!

So much for this game looking good. It looks like total shit on my system. Given, it's older and I can't crank up the settings much, but c'mon I go from beautiful cutscenes... to this?!
I didn't play it long at all since it wasn't running smoothly at all on my system. Thumbs down on a game that we waited for forever and another thumbs down on yet another reason why I'll stick to playing games on my 360. I can't afford a new pc and I don't have the patience to tweak it to all hell. I just want to PLAY, and there's better looking and better running games I can play out there already.

I'm surprised how big a difference a working night day and weather cycle is. My first night in 'the zone' was a lot of fun. Started the morning on to midday which was overcast and then on to dawn when i had a battle at the garbage dump. I spent the night there fighting off baddies when a thunderstorm hit which from the lightning flashes helped spot the baddies It cleared up at night when the stars came out. Later I moved on to the hanger in early morning. Fun fun!
The Task manager PDA thing is a bit confusing, the map is also.

WOW! i just went and pick this bad boy up and let me tell you... first off i can play it. WOOHOO!
next is, this is not a sit down for a couple minutes title. this is going to take some time. i only played long enough to get to the "settlement" right next to were you start at and i have to go do something else. bummer for me. i'm going to enjoy this.

Yeah, it a lot of fun. I have a bit of trouble understanding the task listing, and the objective. But the immersion makes up for it for sure. Better immersion then even HL2 i think, or any other game for that matter. Weather, day/night cycles, and foliage affect by wind and wind gusts. The colors are affected by the weather and lighting.
Initially i hated the inaccurate weapons, but later on it gets a lot of fun. More you play it, the more fun it is. Total replay value.
Reading the Gamespot game guide helped loads. I'm pretty much going by it instead of the task tracker.

Picked this up today.
I LOVE IT!
I must be evil though. I've already killed off the entire town you start in, and the military check point up the road. LOL. I'm going to restart soon, just wanted some practice with the combat system.
I love that the weapons aren't insanely accurate.
