Bad thing is that the drive is starting to go and it's out of warranty. Out of warranty? Isn't the warranty like three years? edit: oh shit, looks like mine is too edit 2: looks like my xbox is still warranted since it is a red ring of death problem... I dunno I gotta call them up. |

My son's just did it. We were both slightly bummed -but as of 4-4-08 the return box is being sent. We shall see. _____________________________ We received the return box as of today (the eighth). I came home from work, and saw that my son had already packed it up, so it will go out tomorrow. |

microsoft is being good with the burnt out boxes. Mine was beyond repair, so they gave me a new one. One thing to remember is DO NOT send the HDD with the box. They will not send it back. And although loud and annoying, you might want to get one of those fans that attach to the back of the box.

 just got the red ring, didnt know what u wer talkin bout till I tried to load up nfs pro street and seen the normally green ring is now red and a no signal on my tv. ugh. |
