Nice, I didn't realize this was out.

It runs great on my system. Looks great too.

Just curious...
I've never played any of the CoD games before, are they all like this (i.e. extremely linear with no breaks in the action)?
In the demo you just move forward while tons of enemies run at you firing. You almost don't have time to even aim. And if you stop anywhere in the map the enemies seem to keep respawning infinitely.

It's like playing a flashy (but tedious) game of whack-a-mole.

Maybe that's just the demo level though.

In short? Yes.

Never been a big fan of the Call of Duty series... I will install tomorrow though to give her another try.

those are some reasons why i dont play cod. its become this game for the main stream - having to develop for all audiances and that usually watters alot down.

CoD and MoH series had that bad(gameplay on rails). i personally forgave that most of the time due to it's fun factor. but that's just me.

COD has always been VERY on rails, but thats where it's strength was in single player, they made quite the interesting scirpted Sequences.

However I'm not buying this for the single player, Having played though the single player a few times I know this will be much like the multiplayer in the other COD games. A solid tactical shooter, even more so since they are including a Hardcore mode, where the hud is gone I think, the is no health re gen. But even in normal mode it dosen't take alot to kill some one, and with all the multi player "perks" the leathality will be even more so. And since tactical shooters period are in short supply I'm glad this is comming out, and even more glad its good, and yeah, think more on the multi side if you don't like the linear nature of the single player.
