I am great at sniping in rvs.

what gun do you use to snipe? when i think of snipe, i think of lying on a hill top and shooting people in the heart with the PSG-1 which is nearly impossible because it takes a total of 1 second for the round to exit the freakin sniper barrel in rvs!

if you mean taking your AUG and shooting the next person to waltz through your cross hairs, well that's what i call a "zoom 'n pop" cool :1 (11):

im not that great of a sniper in BF2......but in halo/h2..........bling bling bleotches

I remember playing Halo PC against my friend in 1v1's all the time... He thought I cheated because I kept owning him with the sniper rifle Sad

I like both.  CQC firefights can get out of hand.  I can recall playing RvS and with 30 rounds in an L85a1 I got 4 kills; I would kill someone, turn around and kill another.  I do like sniping, as it gives a more tactical feel for some reason.  Finding a nice perch in BF2 with a spotter is pretty fun.

In H&D2 I used to "sharp shoot". Not so much sniping as my aim wasnt as good as some of the guys I played with/against but my CQC skills wherent great either, so I would lie in wait for someone to come past and not see me and then get them when I couldnt really miss. I'm guessing this was influenced mainly by my choice of weapon.

i like to stand behind the open door, wait untill everyone has entered the room, and then shoot them all in the back.

I love CQB i find it very challenging, the spacial awareness of tight street fighting makes for a high adrenalin game.
constantly trying to slip your opponent and get in behind him.

I find sniping the easy way. Low stress. Low Adrenalin.
It's great and functional tactic for most games, works better in single player than multi.
Crawl around the edge of the map, working all the angles.
Camping a spawn point until you run out of bullets.
Going in with the pistol for the final guys is a goody too.

Mainly it depends on the map.

NOTA.  Support baby.  Give me that big auto gun and some nades to scatter the opposition and let the folks behind me pick em off :1 (17):

Ditto.

In BF2, 99% of the time I go support (when I don't have the urge to take out enemy artillery/radar/etc.). Like Demon said, me and him are usually a team that way. He goes Medic (with his L85A1) and I go Support (with the PKM I believe the unlock is called) and I'm able to supress the enemy while he can take them out with the scoped rifle.

Works fairly well. Not to mention he can heal/revive me and I can keep our ammo supply up.

I like beter being a sniper then be on close quaters because my famaly has been in the military for 25 as snipers and well it the same for me i love snipers like the Psg-1 and M82A1 but if i could be in the frontlines with a M4 or M60 that would be just as good..
