This is just to give an update on the new version of The Platoon (we'll call it v2) to the curious minds out there. The reason we took so long to get an estimate of a site launch was because the head programmer had a 3 week vacation this summer.

Right now, we've just finished the main base coding. What's this? Well, this is the main operating point of the new Platoon. It will be how we control everything that happens. The whole idea is for it to be easily updateable to ensure we keep up with the times and add things if we need them.

Right now we're working on the control panel of the new site (it's pretty rough right now). With this, we will be able to build the pages and subpages directly from the control panel. So when this is done, it should be pretty fast for us to get the site up and running with new features and alot more content.

Also, once it is done and functional to the public, we will have you guys give feedack on what you'd like to see added.

Hope this clears up any questions.
