Gracie is coming back. YAY!

undeniably one of THE best UFC fighters is making a comeback and fighting one THE best current fighters. Royce Gracie vs Matt Hughes set for May, a definate must for UFC fans.

I remember watching him and Ken Shamrock go at it, those were some good wrestling matches.

UFC sucks. Try Pride, much more professional.

The Pride matches I have seen haven't been that good. Given, I don't get any PPV's. However, I watch a lot of UFC and I enjoy it.

I personally prefer the technical fighters (ground and pounders and submission fighters) over the strikers. While strikers many times have the best "highlight reels" there's a lot of lulls in the action as they wait for an opening for that one big punch. I much more enjoy watching someone like Matt Hughes go to work (though I am a Chuck Lidell fan).

Overall it's one of my favorite sports to watch.

Strikers. I love strikers. But I was always a boxing fan, never a wrestling fan.

While I'm sure that some strikers are equally as technical as the wrestlers, I guess I'm more able to see the jockeying for position, getting side control over your oponent, blocking his attempts at getting free or gaining an advantage, and manuevering him into where you can beat him down or finish him with a submission. That's why I love the wrestlers and (especially) those that combine it with ground and pound like Diego.

... though I gotta admit I LOVE a good knockout. I think Chuck's knockout kick or the few flying knees that just come out of nowhere have been some of my favorite. Overall though there's just something about a rear naked choke...

Perfect timing...I just watched the 'Best UFC fights of 2005'. Saw a few of them there choke holds.

The best was that one guy that came out in the second round, and just jumped a knee into the guys head and KO'd him right at the opening bell.  Cheesy

Yeah that one's great.

As for hanky-panky in the shower- only with my wife, and I wasn't playing drop the soap.

Nah, it's just that I can appreciate the tactical battle they're fighting on the ground better than a standing fistfight.
