Nice.
However, I fear the embedded love story between the two teens or whatever is going to turn me off. I'm not sure why every movie needs to have crap like that in it. I just wish they'd target one audience instead of trying to rope everyone in, but money talks, I suppose.

This does look amazing. I remember watching the transformers cartoon a long time ago. And even having the action figures, heh.
This will defenatly be one I see.

I'm not going to let a pathetic puke love story ruin a good movie. It didn't ruin King Kong, did it? I just want to see some giant-angry-robot-that-looked like-a-vehicle-3-seconds-ago battling. From the looks of this trailer, all I can say is...

Eh. I've been kind of following this from Ain't it Cool, and the die-hard fans have been having a fit over all the changes.
It looks like a fun popcorn movie, and the trailer actually improved my opinion of the movie, but I don't think it's going to be anything spectacular. I mean, it's Michael Bay ffs.

I'm not going to let a pathetic puke love story ruin a good movie. It didn't ruin King Kong, did it? I never saw it, so I don't know. But I've been thrown a few curve balls in the past (i.e. Pearl Harbour, Titanic), so I just hope these horny teens don't ruin my Transformers. the die-hard fans have been having a fit over all the changes. One problem I already see is Optimus Prime isn't a cab-over like he was in the cartoon, but I'm not one to nit pick.

as much as i want to love it, it looks retarded....They needed allitle bit more of the 80's flair and less of total realism look.

I believe the reason for the cab-over change was that it wasn't realistic in terms of his transformation.
... now those flames, however....

I believe the reason for the cab-over change was that it wasn't realistic in terms of his transformation. He's from a distant planet and is able to transform from a truck into a giant robot. Realism really isn't my main focus.

I think Aramis is referring to the actual solidity of his parts. They couldn't cram the polygon model together without overlapping pieces while using a cab-over, or in order to use a cabover they'd have to remove some of the equipment/size? I dunno, but it makes sense when you think about it. Sure they got it to work as a plastic toy, but he had to use his trailer to haul equipment and weaponry. I guess we'll find out next year. I've found that a lot of movies lack the immersion factor. Considering the state of movies these days, and how many of them bite ass, I look forward to films like this. Screw immersion, I just want something that I will remember a month from when I saw it without having to look on IMDB because it just wasn't good enough to retain in my overstuffed noggin.
