So what movies are you looking forward to this thanxgiving/christmas season?  Or what have you already seen and liked?

For me:
Harry Potter
Just saw it.  Really well done, even compared with the others, but they left some things out and made some plot changes I didn't like.  StarStarStarStar/5

Rent
Comes out on Wednesday, I'll be there first night.  Everything I've read says it's true to Jonathan Larson's original vision of the movie, and the cast is phenomenal (for the budget of the film, anyway).  Look for a review from me later this week.

Walk the Line
Johnny Cash's music is alright IMO, and Jaquin (sp?) Phoenix is one of the best character actors out there today.  A definite must-see movie.

Finally, The Ice Harvest
Looks cool, is all.  And I like caper movies.

I like joaquin phoenix. I don't think I've seen a bad movie from him yet.

It's also a pretty strong time for DVD releases. Polar Express and War of the Worlds came out today. Kingdom of Heaven was last week. Mr. and Mrs. Smith, March of the Penguins, Fantastic Four (ehhh, Alba's hot), Cinderella Man, Dukes of Hazzard (Jessica Simpson........*drools*), The Island, and 40-Year-Old Virgin are all out before Christmas.

Don't know if anyone wants those, but I figured I'd give a head's up. http://imdb.com/recommends/comingsoon - Larger list of what's coming out soon on DVD.

Aeon Flux looks like a good popcorn muncher.

The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.  Oh yeah, that other giant in the fantasy genre C.S. Lewis has one of his more famous works come to the big screen in a giganto budget flick as well.

More than likely will go to see this first chapter of the Chronicles of Narnia, loved the book and the toons as a kid.  Followed a bit of the production and it looks to be a top notch flick.

Walk the Line, the latest HP flick and Ice Harvest look to be enjoyables on DVD IMHO.

Well, the movie was definately not as good as the stage version, and you're all entitled to your own opinions.  I liked Johnathan Larson's message, and a couple of the songs were catchy (La Vie Boheme, anyone?)

To add to my previous list: First Decent and Chronicles of Narnia: LW&W.
