I'm happy to share such great works of art, especially since it's a movie, since I know not every one likes artbooks like me. Glad to see oters enjoy this greatest of adaptions.

The second time around seeing it, I finally got to appreciate the story, and not sit there just in awe of the adaption and seeing a comic come to life truly for the first time.

It's all about Mickey Rourke, and Benicio Del Toro, IMO. Though the rest of the cast is strong in their roles. but those two sell their parts so god damn well. Marv is peeled from the pages, every little thing convinces me. Benicio is wonderful, my latin brad pit, such range, and in this one he plays the pathetic psycho to a T, some times I forget it's some one I've seen a donzen times in movies, especially after he gets his head dunked in the toliet.

I'm happily waiting for 300 here, especially since I'm going to get around to reading the comics before hand.

So uhm... I told you guys so. Tongue

I'm a huge Frank Miller fan and this was absolutely so true to his graphic novels. There were scenes that were just cut directly from the graphic novels. Great stuff.

I think the only letdown for me was the scene with "Goldie" driving the car and hitting Marv (they showed it in the original trailers). I think it just kinda passed my "unrealism" mark. Overall though the Marv section is my favorite.

Highly recommend you guys pick up Miller's work in Sin City if you haven't already. There's some great, great art (his own) as well as some other stories to be told.

Ditto brotha, and the great thing about a Frank Miller novels is that you can dish one out in like an hour. It's great. I think I have read sin city like 8 times. It's sooo good and the artwork is unreal. I dont own any of the others though I really want too. I know they are as follow though w/ leading characters.

1. Sin City (Marv)
2. A Dame To Kill For (Dwight
3. The Big Fat Kill (Dwight)
4. That Yellow Bastard (Hartigan)
5. Family Values (Dwight and Miho)
6. The Babe Wore Red (Dwight)
7. Sex & Violence (Delia - Blue Eyes)

for those who don't know the first Sin City(2005) is based around Sin City, The Big Fat Kill & That Yellow Bastard

Sin City 2 (2006) is to be based around A Dame to Kill For and I think Family Values.

Where Sin City 3 (2008) is to be centered around The Babe Wore Red & Sex & Violence.
