Sarah Silverman Project

I downloaded the Sarah Silverman project from xbox live because:

1. It was free.
2. I hate Sarah Silverman and was wanting to see how bad it was.


God... this thing is so gawd awful horrible. Sarah's not funny to begin with; add in a totally unrealistic and moronic show (I mean, she gets pulled over and hands the officer a hand-drawn picture of a penis when he asks for a license. Then she goes "oh, this is expired," and hands him another crappy hand-drawn picture). I don't know what it's trying to be- poking fun at itself and other sitcoms, or maybe that kind of stupid humor that's prevalent in a lot of shows on Comedy Central and Cartoon network. Either way, I found maybe one laugh in the whole thing, and I think I was being generous.



Anyway, I was just curious if anyone else had seen it. I can't believe this turd actually got on the air. Here's some more info:

I've seen her stand-up act a few times. I really don't understand her popularity either.

i actually find her jokes extremely immature and stupid.  watched one episode out of desperation.  i hated it.

I just don't see it catching on, as I've yet to hear anecdotal evidence that anyone likes her.

I was actually kind of impressed with her. I havnt seen the show but i saw her on several late night talk shows promoting it and she was actually quite funny. I assumed she would suck since shes a woman but i was pleasently suprised. Shes not the greatest but she made me laugh a few times which is more than i can say for ALOT of comedians.

Now Dave Chappell's success is bafelling, Oh wait people love a black guy telling race jokes i forgot.

I really didn't like her character in "School of Rock".  She happened to be in an episode of Voyager that I scanned past the other day, too.  She must have been about 19 in that episode.  She does not appear to have mellowed with age.

I rented Way of the Gun on xbox360 just to give the rental thing a try, and lo and behold, Sarah Silverman was in it. She was some crazy evil bitch that went off on the main characters outside a bar and expected her boyfriend to fight them as a result.

She got punched in the face and nose broken. I swear, I laughed the whole time.
