I'm watching The Office right now and just saw a bumper sticker for a local radio station here in California. Anyone know where the show is filmed?

The commentary tracks on Season 2 mention that the show is filmed in Burbank, CA. Some of the exterior shots (sans cast) are actually from Scranton, PA (e.g. opening credits).

I never really got into this show, I've only seen the scattered episode, and frankly I don't have the time (on my DVR). Should I perhaps consider scrapping one of my other shows to make time for this?

How much time do you have left on your DVR? I'd say find at least 2 episodes worth of time and see if you like it. You should know by then.

It's a good show and it's actually based in part on an office located in Scranton, PA, yes. I think what makes it so good is that it's loosely based on similar comedic interaction to "Office Space", in that pretty much nothing in the show even resembles a serious office setting.

The first mini-season was hit or miss with me, I think it took the show a while to break from its British roots and develop its own style. Season's 2 and 3 were great though (IMHO). I'd try a couple of episodes from those seasons.
