Well since I didn't get to see in the movie theatres, I decided that I would buy Cinderella Man on DVD and enjoy a quiet time @ home...
I can honestly say I was crying, cheering, clapping...every emotion was running through me...That story is inspirational....when people look on their lives they say I want to be the best man I can possibily....well...Jim Braddock is the ephiphany of that was right in America during the Great Depression...His love for his family is second to none...even to do this day...I gave it 20 :star:s out of 5

Superb acting.. (with the glaring exception of Renee Zellweger)..

Definitely one of Ron Howard's best works.

Got mediocre reviews when it was in theaters mainly due to Million Dollar Baby. Both movies were great, but fact is MDB got such raving reviews because of the increased cast budget and the fact that female heroes in movies tend to draw a larger audience. I'm not saying MDB was bad, just saying it cast a shadow over the sport-based, and especially boxing, movies for last year.

Didn't care for MDB actually...Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman were awesome in it...but...I don't know...guess I'm not a friend of Hilary Swank....I like Cinderella Man a lot better though.
