As a kid growing up watching T.V. I used to browse the KERA channel and find all sorts of odd shows from Benny Hill to Dr. Who.

I was amazed by the show quite some time and often thought it was a cool kids show even with its limited budget and godzilla monsters. But I just found out that Sci-fi has bought the rights to it and will be airing it in march.

SCI FI Channel and BBC Worldwide Americas announced today a major licensing deal for the first series of the latest Doctor Who adventures.

The 13-part drama is about a mysterious time-travelling adventurer known simply as "The Doctor" (Christopher Eccleston) and his companion, Rose Tyler (Billie Piper). The Doctor and Rose risk death and danger, battling aliens and monsters.

I found this after I saw this article from fark.com,

Dr Who's Cybermen take over street

Has anyone else ever caught this show, I figured Mike would have bookmarked it as a fav.

I used to be a huge fan of the Dr. Who series. Back when I was maybe 11 they aired it on a UHF station that I had rigged an antenna to work to get. The only episode that truly sticks in my mind is "Serendipity". Dr. Who taught me that word, and I'll never forget it.
