As a suggestion, maybe this thread should be entitled Film, Music, Books and Media LOL

Anyways I just finished COMBAT SWIMMER: MEMOIRS OF A NAVY SEAL, by Capt. Gormly USN Ret. Anyone read this book? I wanna compare notes, esp. about how people think of Marcinko and Seal Team Six.

Right now I am slacking on my book reading at the moment, I had to put down one of the ones I was currently reading for the time being to catch up with thing's at work. I just recently went to the grapevien mills mall and saw a new version of Richard Marcinko's book about another mission I assume he is writing about. My step-father swears to this book and keeps it among his favs to talk about.

Currently I am reading Blind Man's Bluff. It's really good so far and has been up until I stopped reading it...

Well, the thing is, Combat Swimmer kinda gives a thumbs down at Marcinko's "legacy" with Team 6. I believe Gormly and Dick had been good friends at one point, but when the time came that they had to virtually wrench Team 6 from each other's arms, I think the friendship got fouled up, and Gormly was forced to reveal some of the "bad" stuff that Marcinko did while in charge of Team 6. But again, I really don't like politics and policy talk...I'm more of an operator *sly grin*
