My wife and I got a surprise opportunity to see a movie yesterday. We had a look at what was playing and nothing really stood out. We picked "Charlie Wilson's War" because we didn't want to see anything else and we really wanted to go out, not because we had any interest in the movie. In fact, we hadn't even heard of it at that point.

What a pleasant surprise! We really liked it. I give it Star Star Star Star Half Star.  The reviews seem very mixed on it. I curious if anyone else here has seen it.

I'd really like to see it. You definitely recommend it? I'm a huge Tom Hanks fan so anything he is in I'm gonna give it a whirl.

I saw it last wednesday. I went in thinking this is probably going to be So/so. The guy who plays the CIA agent at the afghan desk is possibly the best part of it. Hanks is Hanks, he doesnt outstand on previous performances and neither does Roberts.

I would recommend this film over most other films ive seen in the last 6 months.
