The set-up for the show sounds really interesting and offers a lot of potential for a great series IMHO (assuming they don't screw it up).

On the subject of new shows this fall...

Anyone going to check out "Heroes"? (preview video on http://www.nbc.com)
I'm still undecided on this one. Preview video wasn't too bad. I really like the idea of a more "realistic" take on the superhero theme (ala Shyamalan's "Unbreakable"), but it looks like they might end up cheesing it all to hell...
