i saw it, and thank god i didnt have to pay money out of my own pocket to see it.  the worst acting and bland plot i have seen. the first two were in my opinion not good, but this movie takes the cake. some parts were better than the first two movies, but overall that doesnt make it better.

singing and dancing, love story, such low emotions that looked like they were trying to act, but didnt pull it off as actuall emotion.

some actions sequences were good, and yes venom looked cool (the only reason why people went to see it IMHO(unless they are just die hard zelots)). anyways, i wouldnt waste my money to see this again or buy it on dvd.

i caution the rest of you even tho you dont evaluate my opinion as anything vailed.

a mediocer movie made for 500+million dollers, which is the biggest budget ever in a movie.  opening sales were all hype because no one cared to read about the reviews, which also said this was a "spidy will make you gay" movie (singing and dancing, come on). http://www2.b3ta.com/spidermanwillmakeyougay/

Is there anything that's positive for you?

Do you to complain to yourself after you masterbate?

cheesy

I just saw it. It was alright. It's a comic book for christ sake. You know going in it's not Saving Private Ryan.

It wasn't a great movie. I enjoyed it, but not as much as I did so many other comic-based movies. Definitely don't go in with any hopes for spectacular story. The biggest problem with the movie is that you can easily see that Toby Maguire put on some serious weight, and his age is starting to show. Kirsten Dunst may look good visually, until she opens her mouth, then all the ugly comes out. And I'm not just talking about her mad crooked teeth. Her acting ability is sub-par. Her emotional projection comes in one flavor- pain. Take her off the set, replace her with someone who DOESN'T think she should be paid more than she's worth, and maybe you'll get a better film.

James Franco is a damn good actor. I've seen him in plenty of other movies and find him to be fresh and invigorating onscreen.

The rest of the cast seemed to work well enough, considering. I especially enjoyed the brief spot that Bruce Campbell had.

Hey! Where's the damn spoiler tags?

Too bad Franco won't be back. Then again, considering the quality of this one, maybe that's a good thing, at least for his career.

I haven't seen it yet. I'm a huge fan of the first two so I'm probably going to see the third one even with the lack-luster reviews. I'll keep my expectations low.

I have to admit, when I saw the trailers - which looked great - I was a little puzzled with seeing symbiont Spidey/Venom AND New Goblin AND Sandman. Seems like a bit much.
